Brindi: a danger to society?
Let’s get real…
Does this looks like an irresponsible owner to you?
Does this look like a couple that deserves to be separated?
Does this looks to you like a dog that deserves to DIE????
Please CALL Mayor Peter J. Kelly, Mayor of Halifax on ph: 902-490-4010 or if you are abroad please email kellyp@halifax.ca and express your deepest inner feelings regarding this case.

I love this video. See how much love there is between them, Brindi just adores Francesca. The way she looks at her.
A danger to society, I don't think so. Doing a lot of reading about their story and looking at the NS SPCA's site, and all the stuff on the blog….to me proves Brindi is not a dangerous dog, but a victim of the HRM and the Mayor. I will continue to email and call to save Brindi and get them back together, all I can do.

Doris Sikora says:
Brindi needs to go home with her guardian, you can see the love for them….I called the mayors office yesterday, they must have know it was about Brindi, as the receptionist was very rude and short with me, I asked to speak to the mayor and she said, MADAM HE IS IN A MEETING, very short and rude, I said I am calling about Brindi, and I know she knew this before I even said it, I am sure she saw the area code (519) so she knew it wasn't about moving snow or something like that. I have emailed every connection I have seen, hope everyone is calling, emailing to help Brindi go home, where she belongs, the video brought tears to my eyes, she loves her guardian so much, its heart wrenching to watch, but must be watched to see the connection with these two.

Anybody viewing this video would have to be as hard as a brick if the not moved by the intensity and emotion shown between Francesca and Brindi, their companionship is 1.000% I have weighed up the story and allegations made and even if their is a miff of truth there these two souls need to be given every chance and opportunity to prove their substance in being put back together again… please everybody who supports them by giving them that chance.
melissa says:

Email them at kellyp@halifax.ca & tell them to return this dog to it's owner!
Sherri says:
Do any of you actually know the story?
That this woman couldn't be bothered to muzzel or leash her dog when she was under order?
Since her dog had ATTACKED other dogs?
She is irresponsible. And if her dog is saved it should NOT go to her. She is iresponsible and lazy.
Holly says:
Actually, I do know the story. Quite well. From your comments, I believe there are a few things you have not considered: Brindi was seized by the city with the intent to kill her… for violations the city generally fines dog owners for. At the time Brindi was seized, there were no options for a pet owner to challenge such a seizure which gives the city the full power to seize and destroy its citizens' "property" — as animals are still classified.
Beyond that, Brindi broke away from the owner while she was being muzzled.
Francesca has built a fenced run to secure that this will not happen again. A behavioral assessment shows that Brindi is not an aggressive dog.
Your statement that the owner is irresponsible seems to discount these conditions which the owner did of her own accord.
