Brindi

“Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” Margaret Mead

In 2006, the canadian rock band Nickelback published a song: “If everyone cared“.

The song was dedicated to a Canadian-based Charity called ICA Canada (or International Children’s Awareness Canada), a Charity with 0% administration costs which does a lot of volunteer work building sustainable communities in third-world locations.  Revenues generatedby this song were donated to ICA Canada.

I am a great fan of Nickelback music and of this song in particular. I believe the world should watch this video and reflect upon its content.
Today we are going to respectfully use Nickelback’s work to help us save a life: the life of a dog, Brindi,  representing the life of millions of animals living in Canada and the United States currently on death row because of inadequate legislation.
I know they will forgive us.

I would kindly ask you to help us spread this video….  Help us change the world.

For the animals

  • Awesome video.

  • How about the people of that city telling the Mayor they won't re-elect him if this happens. Have they signed petitions stating this? If not, they should do this right away! I hope this man comes to his senses and frees this dog. FREE BRINDI!!

  • This is an awesome choice, Viktor!!! You were right! I really do think this one is much better….awe it is such a powerful song and all the accomplishments that started with one person to form a nation of changing things that needed to be changed. As is for Brindi and the long and difficult struggle to save her life, from one person doing what needed to be done out of her love for Brindi has turned into a world wide effort. To change the by laws of Halifax so this would not happen again to other pets and pet owners.

  • Funny thing! This is the song my rescue group uses as it’s theme song. I think it is just perfect for this campaign.
